   Terms &
Conditions of Service

Terms and Conditions the client must agree upon commissioning.

Process GIF 2000x.gif

All clients are expected to maintain respectful and professional conduct throughout any interaction.

Rude, disrespectful, or inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated under any circumstance. Requests for free work or any form of “payment through exposure” (such as promoting or sharing my work instead of paying) will result in an immediate block.

If such behaviour occurs, I reserve the right to cancel the commission at any time, regardless of progress or prior agreement.

Furthermore, I will not accept commissions that include or promote the following:

  • Explicit or extreme gore;

  • Political or ideological discussions that reverberate real-life matters.

  • Any form of racism, homophobia, transphobia, or discrimination;

  • Content involving paedophilia, zoophilia, or necrophilia.

Respectful communication is essential — failure to adhere to these terms will lead to termination of contact and cancellation of any ongoing work.

*I.

Behaviour Terms.

The completion period for a commission may take up to 1–3 weeks, depending on various factors. These factors include, but are not limited to:

  • My personal physical and mental health;

  • The order in which the commission was requested (other commissions may be ahead of yours);

  • The overall complexity of the piece (e.g., detailed backgrounds, multiple characters, intricate elements);

  • College workload, homework, or academic projects;

  • Family or personal matters;

  • Other unforeseen circumstances.

Reminder:
If any of the factors listed above affect the expected delivery time, the commissioner will be notified as soon as possible.

Rush Orders / Deadlines:
If you require the artwork to be completed before the standard timeframe, please inform me before placing your order.
Rush orders may incur an additional fee, depending on the urgency and complexity of the request.
Deadlines that are not discussed and agreed upon in advance will not be guaranteed.

*Ii.

Commission Worktime Period.

Once the commission has reached the Delivering Stage, only minor changes may be requested. These small adjustments are intended to correct minor details, not to alter the finished artwork.

Examples of 'Small Changes':

  • Simple color adjustments;

  • Lineart corrections (misplaced or uneven lines, etc.);

  • Post-production edits (lighting, filters, or effects);

  • Text additions or modifications (if included in the commission).

Requests exceeding these limits will be considered major changes, which may incur an additional charge of up to 50% of the original commission price, depending on complexity.

Examples of 'Major Changes':

  • Outfit redesigns or modifications;

  • Background alterations or replacements;

  • Any revision that requires partial redrawing of the completed artwork.

*Iii.

Revision Policy.

I, the artist, retain full ownership and copyright over all stages of the commissioned artwork — from initial sketches to the completed final piece. The commissioner does not own the artwork itself, but is granted limited rights to use it as outlined below.

Artist’s Rights

As the copyright holder, I reserve the right to:

  • Use the artwork to promote myself on any platform (physical or digital), including websites and social media;

  • Publish, display, and print the commissioned work as part of my portfolio or commission examples;

  • Exhibit the work publicly as I see fit.

Disclaimer:

If the commissioned piece includes personal likenesses (such as a caricature or identifiable features of the client), I will not use it publicly without the client’s consent.
However, I may still use simplified or non-identifiable parts (e.g., poses, compositions, or portraits) as examples in my portfolio.

Client’s Rights

The client is permitted to:

  • Use the commissioned artwork for personal, non-commercial purposes only, unless otherwise agreed;

  • Print and display the artwork for personal use;

  • Claim ownership of their character(s) featured in the artwork, but not the artwork itself;

  • Use the piece for self-promotion with proper credit to the artist (e.g., tagging or mentioning me).

Prohibited Actions (Copyright Infringement)

The following actions are considered violations of this policy and will result in the loss of all rights to use the artwork:

  • Using the artwork for commercial purposes without explicit permission (e.g., selling merchandise, prints, or using it for monetary gain);

  • Claiming credit or authorship of the artwork;

  • Removing or altering watermarks, signatures, or artist marks;

  • Heavily modifying or editing the artwork without the artist's consent (minor filter or lighting adjustments are acceptable).

  • Feed the artwork into Generative AI (Check 6th page for more details.)

commercial rights

Purchasing Commercial Rights grants the commissioner permission to:

  • Create and sell merchandise using the artwork (e.g., t-shirts, stickers, posters, etc.);

  • Use the artwork for books, album covers, branding, or promotional material;

  • Modify or adapt the artwork for commercial use, provided that clear credit to the artist is always maintained.

The cost of Commercial Rights is always up to 300% or more of the final artwork price, including any applicable revisions or additional fees mentioned under Client Satisfaction.

*Iv.

Copyright & Usage

Policy.

Before payment is made, the commissioner has the right to cancel the commission at any time.

Once payment has been received and the work has begun, the commissioner cannot request a refund. I, the artist, retain the right to cancel and refund a commission at my discretion at any point during the process.

In the case of a cancelled or unclaimed commission, the work may be offered to new buyers, provided this does not infringe on any copyrights and/or intellectual property. Regardless of cancellation, the artist may still use the artwork as part of a portfolio or as a commission example in accordance with the Copyright & Usage Policy.

Additionally, the artist reserves the right to file a complaint with any involved third-party services (e.g., VGen) if necessary.

All payments received remain under the artist’s control and are fully retained by the artist.

*v.

Cancelling

& Refunding Policy.

In light of recent global developments and the increasing use of Generative AI technologies, this amendment to the Terms of Service establishes clear boundaries regarding AI usage related to my artwork.

I, the artist, strictly oppose and prohibit the use of Generative AI in any capacity beyond minor, time-saving tools (e.g., workflow automation, file organization, or non-creative enhancements).

The client is expressly forbidden from feeding, training, or otherwise inputting my artwork — in whole or in part — into any Generative AI model, service, or dataset. Likewise, the client is prohibited from using AI tools to “enhance,” “modify,” “add to,” or “recreate” any portion of my work under any circumstance.

This restriction applies to all existing and future AI platforms, including but not limited to Grok, ChatGPT, Sora AI, Character.AI, and similar technologies, whether current or forthcoming.

This policy applies retroactively to all commissions I have ever created — past, present, and future — without exception.

Violation of this clause constitutes a direct infringement of my Copyright & Usage Policy and may result in immediate termination of rights and further action if necessary.
